Turkey Patties

We use so much ground meat in our home because it is budget friendly, so I’m always trying to create variations of dishes since you can only do so much with ground meat. I love patties because they are super versatile. They can be for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They meal prep well. You can use it for a sandwich like a traditional burger, on it’s own, in a bone broth rice bowl, or you can throw it on salad. Patties can really be made different by what you add to them, same thing goes for meatballs. You can change them up with dry herbs and spices, cheeses, chopped cooked green or root veggies, really the sky is the limit. When I make patties, because they are meal prep friendly and even freeze well, I tend to make larger batches.

For these particular patties I was trying to do a fridge clean out and just using up what was defrosted, cooked, already shredded, etc. Feel free to switch up herbs, spices, types of cheese, etc. Make this recipe your own if you don’t have what I used. We get the cheese, in case you were wondering through Azure Standard. Azure Standard is a food co-op of sorts with a food drop that comes from their warehouse once a month. Someone always asks where we get raw goat cheddar cheese from and they’ve never seen it before. We actually used to purchase it at Whole Foods, but we enjoy our shopping experience much more with Azure Standard due to price and customer service. We get our ground turkey from them as well. Use our Azure Standard link to check out what they have and for your first order use the code NEW15 to save 15% on your order of $100 or more before taxes and shipping.

Directions: In a medium to large sized bowl mix everything together. Line a cookie sheet or two with parchment paper. This recipe makes 15-16 patties. Using a large spoon scoop out a patty sized amount onto the sheets. Bake them for 25 to 35 minutes on 425 degrees. Feel free to put other foods that cook well at the temperature amd amount of time with them as well.

I hope you really enjoy the recipe. There are affiliate links included in this post. You never have to purchase from them, but when you do it costs nothing extra, and you bless our work and home.
